Cute little motel, you don't expect what's in behind the not so nice outside. You have a fireplace in you room! It's gorgeous. And the little Pub Muskoka Rocks - you can get the best ribs and steak on the world!
Booked for a weekend away with the hubby this place is great! stayed in the "motel" room. wow!! it's big and spacious and super clean! the waterfront is amazing!! shallow if you need for young kids and deep for jumping off the dock! Water trampoline, water climber, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and paddle boats free to use with your stay! Nice friendly owners and other vacationers are chill which is awesome! Next time we're bringing the kids :) 5 min drive to town. Only bad thing I think of is water pressure in the shower.... hey but who needs to shower when you got a lake?? Lol JK .... I FULLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
Our family loves Colonial Bay! We've been coming here for years. The cottages are comfortable and super clean, the beach is wonderful (and even has a bit of sand for kids to play in), and it's close to all the local amenities and Algonquin Park. There are kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards and canoes. Water skiing and boarding can be arranged for a small fee. But the best part of Colonial are the hosts: Bruce and Nicole are super friendly, down to earth people and excellent local guides. Can't wait for our week away in the summer!
