It's always a pretty good time here. The live music is generally good, although it can be crampt inside. The pizza is always fantastic and the oven is gorgeous.
I have a number of dietary restrictions and this place can accomodate them all! Most of their menu items they can make vegan and gluten free too. A huge plus for me. The menu items are interesting twists on Canadian staples. The service was a tad slow, but I think it's because they were really busy on what was supposed to be a slow night. I will definitely return here on my next visit.
The food was good but unremarkable. If you order pizza be prepared to wait a little incase the oven is busy. The side salads are a very good size, we shared it between two people and were content with it as an appetizer. The butternut squash pizza was as good size with lots of toppings. Only complaint was that the ingredients were sparingly placed in the center of the pizza leaving large sections of dry crust on the sides. The gluten free mushroom pizza was delightful, so many mushrooms and tons of roasted garlic, there was no sauce to keep the ingredients in the pizza and the cheese was sprinkled so the toppings ended up on my plate for the most part, but definitely found its way to my mouth
Great atmosphere, decor, outdoor patio(s) and food! We loved our order of wings ($13 per plate)and we came back for them when we came up to visit family. It's a great place! Highly recommend if you're visiting as a tourist (or any time because wings and food is awesome) prices are also very reasonable and great for kids, or a romantic date. There are 2 roof top patios, during the summer if you can get a table on the patio, it certainly is worth the wait. That being said I changed my review to 4 stars due to the service, I hope to see the service and servers improve so tables who are done eating and want to leave, aren't waiting over 20 minutes to find a server to ask for their bill.
Hands down the best Wood Fired Pizza! Friendly service, child friendly and lots of outdoor seating on two patio levels with a view of the river. One of our favourite places to eat :)
