Found a really nice gift for an older church member who shares my birthday. The price was decent. The service was strange. The cashier tried to send me out with the picture that I purchased without a bag. She commented that she didn't have a bag big enough to put it in and then just handed it to me. I asked if it could be wrapped in some of the brown paper from the huge roll that stood behind the counter. She tore off a piece so small that it didn't even cover the entire picture. I asked her for another piece and she only gave enough that time to close the gap. Very strange. Not sure why she rationed the brown paper or what made her think it was acceptable to send my purchase out without a bag or covering.
I've never had an issue with any of the Kirklands in Huntsville. Both have wonderful customer service and they sell quality items. Even when I purchase items online, I've never had an issue and the customer service when you call them have been exceptional!
I love this store. The new one in Jones Valley in Huntsville,Alabama is beautiful. Love it and so many good ideas.
I am signed up for Kirkland's rewards program and email. I love their products. But after tonight's experience with the store manager, I will not be going back to this location. She argued with me that I had to buy lamp shades and lamps together that had separate price tags and after arguing with me about it for several minutes she went over and snatched the lamp shades, dropping one on the floor and then rang them up with a very unpleasant attitude. She could have very simply did that instead of arguing with a customer about something that was not advertised in any way. It seemed she would rather lose business than make the customer happy.
